Can we have a demo?

What courses are included in the plan?

In line with regulatory requirements we provide the following role-based courses within the plan:

  • Relevant employees
  • Non-relevant employees

    Key roles:
  • Board/senior management
  • Money laundering compliance officer (MLCO)
  • Money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) and deputies

Would a key role holder also complete the relevant employee course?

Yes, for example, the MLCO would complete the relevant employee course and the MLCO course. This is because they cover different things. The key role courses are focused more on the responsibilities of the roles.

What does tailoring include?

We tailor the employee course based on your needs and feedback. This includes:

  • Your visual branding
  • Your industry sector(s)
  • Your business location(s)
  • Your business risks
  • Your key contacts
  • Your key policies and procedures
  • Exercises and quiz questions adapted to suit
  • Number of questions, pass rates and attempt numbers

How much work is required from us to tailor it?

It will require your input to review and tailor the course, however it will be worth it! The two stages we require your input are as follows:

  1. First, we send you a short questionnaire and request some key documentation from you.
  2. Once we have tailored the course based on this information, we provide you with links to review the course and add your comments. We also provide you with the question bank for your review.

What sectors do you cover?

Currently, we cover the below sectors, however please get in touch if yours isn't featured here yet - as we are currently building based on demand:

  • Banking
  • Trust company business
  • Fund service business
  • Investment business

What if our activities span multiple sectors? 

No problem, we will ensure that all sectors are captured.

Do you cover jurisdictions other than Jersey?

Yes, we currently also cover Guernsey, working with subject matter experts on the Island. Ask us about other jurisdictions.

Are learners tested?

All courses include a final test which is scored. The number of questions, pass rates and attempt numbers can be set by you. The test questions are randomly selected from a bank of questions, which you will also have the opportunity to review.

Each attempt will include a different set of questions and all attempts will be recorded. This allows the ability to see where additional training may be required.

Is reporting available?

Yes, reporting is available on completion and pass rates. If you have a Group Manager appointed within your firm, you can run reports yourself.

Otherwise, we set up automated reporting on a regular cycle for you.  If you need reporting outside of this cycle, we can generate it manually for you if you ask.

Do you provide CPD certificates?

Yes, learners can download a CPD certificate upon completion of a course.

Can we use this for our induction training too?

Definitely! You will have access for the whole year. If you have a Group Manager appointed within your firm, you can add new users to your plan yourself. Otherwise you can ask us and we will do this right away. 

If you use our LMS, then any material regulatory and business changes are made throughout the year, so your induction training is always up to date.

What benefits are there to using your learning management system (LMS)?

  • Up to date courses - any material regulatory and business changes are made throughout the year, so your induction training is always up to date.

Do we have to use your learning management system (LMS)?

No, whilst we would encourage the use of our LMS due to the benefits and services you receive, it is possible to provide you with a licence to the SCORM files for you to use on your own LMS. Contact us to discuss.

Can we review the training content?

Of course! We provide you with a review link which allows you to make comments and suggested changes.

Are the courses mapped to regulatory requirements and guidance?

Yes! We can provide you with our course summaries which demonstrates this.

Can you provide a copy of the course for our records?

Yes, we can provide a PDF version for you to keep on your records, ready for CMP, audit or regulatory inspection.

How long does it take to complete the courses?

  • Relevant employees: typically 2 hours.
  • Non-relevant employees: typically 1 hour.
  • Key roles: typically 1.5-2 hours depending on number of roles held.

Can we split the employee course into separate modules?

Yes, we can split it into three modules if you prefer.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on several factors, such as the number of courses, users, sectors, jurisdictions, whether using our LMS or your own, and how many years you wish to sign up for. Get in touch for a bespoke quote.

Do you do multi-year contracts?

Yes, we are currently offering a two year contract for a discount of 10% on both years.

How is our data protected?

We will provide you with our T&Cs and privacy policy, and we are happy to provide any additional information you require. 

Would this be considered outsourcing?

No, training your staff is excluded from the JFSC’s Outsourcing Policy.
